How to check and repair short-circuit electric hoist

When the electric hoist is used in work, it is inevitable that the electric hoist will be short-circuited. How to check and repair the short-circuit, the electric hoist teaches us how to do it.

First, when breaking the circuit, not only check the motor first, but also check whether the wiring of the control device is accurate. If the AC contactor contact is not properly connected and the chain hoist causes the circuit to fail to connect, whether there is jamming, replace the contactor if necessary. Then check whether the power fuse of the electric hoist is blown. If one phase is broken, the electric hoist will start with a single phase, the starting torque is zero, and the electric hoist cannot roll, so replace enough fuses. If the electric hoist can't roll, first remove the load. If the electric performance is normal, it means that the transmission mechanism such as the gearbox is faulty. Check the towed mechanism and clear the fault. When the stator winding is short-circuited, grounded or disconnected, and the winding grounding occurs at the grounding plate of the lead wire, the junction box should be opened for inspection. Secondly, if the grid voltage is too low, the starting torque is proportional to the square of the voltage. The acceleration torque manual hoist cannot overcome the load torque and cannot reach the operating speed. The grid voltage should be appropriately increased.

Don't repair the electric hoist without checking if it is short-circuited. For our work safety, we must check every step carefully.
