Reasons and solutions for manual hydraulic pallet trucks unable to start due to cold weather in winter-1

1. Oil check, shake handle

Before starting the vehicle, check the lubricant stock. After the engine is stopped, the lubricating oil will flow back to the crankcase. At this time, the real lubricating oil inventory is checked. Adjust the lubricating oil appropriately according to the inspection situation and the vehicle oil requirements. At the same time, due to the high viscosity and poor fluidity of lubricating oil in winter, in order to fully spray the lubricating oil to the friction surface of each part, the crankshaft should be rotated 20-30 times with the start handle (for engineering vehicles with a car as the chassis), The lubricating oil is evenly distributed to the surface of the parts that need lubricating oil.

2. Warm up the car body and start afterwards

The vehicle needs to be warmed up before starting. There are two common preheating methods:

One is that the grill oven is heated in the oil chassis. Before using this method, first check for oil leakage to avoid fire. During the roasting process, the flame should not be too high. At the same time, the crankshaft should be continuously rotated to distribute the heat absorbed by the oil to all parts of the engine, until the oil makes a sound when heated, and the crankshaft can be continuously rotated for 2-3 revolutions.

The second is to preheat with hot water and steam. This method is safer and the parts are heated more evenly. The method is to turn on the engine drain switch and inject hot water or steam into the engine cooling system to increase the cylinder block temperature. When the engine block temperature rises to 40-50 degrees Celsius, the vehicle can be started when the crankshaft can be continuously rotated for 2-3 revolutions.
