These two electric hoists are mainly composed of side magnetic brake motor, reducer, drum or sprocket, steel wire rope or chain, hook and electrical parts. The working principle of the hoist is similar, but the performance is different due to the partial difference in structure. The following will be described separately:
Motor: The CD/MD wire rope electric hoist uses a cone-rotor motor, while the electric chain hoist uses a cylindrical rotor motor. The principle of the magnetic brake is the same. The brake disc and the end are all under the condition of electrification. The cover is separated, and under the condition of power failure, the spring brakes, so that the brake is locked. In addition, in the two-speed electric hoist, the CD/MD wire rope electric hoist uses 2 hoisting motors, while the electric chain hoist uses the same motor double-group winding structure.
Power transmission structure: The electric wire rope hoist uses a reel, and the wire rope is wound in the rolling groove of the reel in an orderly manner through the rope guide. The electric chain hoist uses a sprocket to guide the chain into the chain belt.
Scope of application: wire rope electric hoists are often used in single-beam bridge cranes and single-beam gantry cranes, especially for large tonnage cranes above 5t. CD/MD wire rope electric hoists have an absolute advantage. Electric chain hoist is often used in cranes below 5t, especially in assembly lines, wind power projects, cantilever cranes and KBK and other light and small lifting equipment.
