Tyre damage and repair
Forklift tires include pneumatic tires and solid tires. The tire inflation pressure must be in accordance with the original manufacturer's standard and must not be too high or too low. If it is too high, the elasticity of the tire will decrease, and the thread layer will easily break. Too low air pressure will cause violent deformation of the tire, increase in temperature, and cause degumming or breakage. It may also cause the tire to move on the rim and wear the bead. In severe cases, the inner tube valve will be torn.
(1) If the tire tire has cracks, holes, blisters, delamination, etc., it should be repaired or overhauled according to the specific conditions.
If there are continuous cracks around the carcass of the tire casing, the tread rubber has been polished and there are large holes, the carcass line layer has annular cracks and the entire circle is separated, it should be replaced.
(2) When small holes are found in the inner tube, hot or cold repair can be performed.
(1) Hot repair: File the roughness around the damaged part of the inner tube, paste the fire repair rubber on the damaged part, and make the hole and small hole just in the center of the repair rubber, and then install the tire repair clamp against the normalizing repair rubber. Tighten the screw to compress and then ignite the heating agent on the fire to fill the glue, wait for 10-15min, then the bonding can be tight.
(2) Raw rubber patch (cold patch): file rough around the tear of the inner tube, apply raw glue, and apply secondary glue after the glue surface is slightly dry. When the glue is air-dried, attach the prepared raw rubber to On the breach, pressurize and heat 140-145℃, keep the temperature for 10-20min to vulcanize the raw rubber. After cooling, it can be tightly bonded.
The inner tube is folded, severely broken and cannot be repaired; it is aging and sticky and deteriorated; deformed or excessively cracked can be scrapped and replaced.
