Identification of impurity content in hydraulic oil of hydraulic pallet truck

The purity of the hydraulic oil directly affects the normal operation of the hydraulic pallet truck cylinder. The following is a simple method to identify the impurity content of the hydraulic oil:


1. Sensory identification: There are obvious suspended metal particles in the oil, and the presence of fine particles can be directly felt when pinching with your fingers; under light, if there is a reflective flash point, it means that the hydraulic components have been severely worn; if the fuel tank There are a lot of metal chips at the bottom, which means that the main oil pump or motor has been severely worn.


2、 Heating identification: For hydraulic oil with low viscosity, it can be directly put into a clean and dry test tube to heat up. If precipitation or suspension is found in the oil in the test tube, it means that the oil contains mechanical impurities.


3. Filter paper identification: For hydraulic oil with higher viscosity, it can be diluted with pure gasoline and then filtered with clean filter paper. If a large amount of mechanical impurities (metal powder) is found on the filter paper, it means that the hydraulic components have been severely worn.


4、Sound identification: If the entire hydraulic system has large and intermittent noise and vibration, at the same time the main oil pump makes a "buzzing" sound, or even the phenomenon of "crawling" of the piston rod, then observe the oil tank liquid level and oil pipe Outlet or transparent level gauge, you will find a lot of foam. This situation shows that the hydraulic oil has been immersed in a lot of air.


5、Identification using ferrograph technology. The ferrograph technology is based on the wear of the mechanical friction pair as the basic starting point. The wear particles in the hydraulic oil are separated from other particles with the help of a ferrograph, and the ferrograph is made into a sheet. Observe under a microscope or a scanning electron microscope, or deposit in a glass tube according to the size, and apply optics for quantitative detection.
