News The mini electric hoist suddenly fails to brake, what should the operator do?

As a kind of more commonly used lifting machinery equipment, the brake failure of the miniature electric hoist means that the electric hoist has lost its braking function, including complete failure and partial failure. Complete failure means that the braking function has no effect at all. , The wire rope and the heavy object are in a state of sliding, and partial failure means that the brake function is partially lost. So what should the operator do when he suddenly encounters a brake failure during use?

In view of the two situations of brake failure, lifting operators can refer to the following reasons and measures to deal with:

1. This situation may be due to the fact that the hoist has been out of use for too long and the braking ability has decreased. At this time, the brake nut needs to be re-adjusted;

2. When this situation still occurs after adjustment, you need to disassemble the brake ring and check whether there are oil stains on the braking surface. The presence of oil stains will also reduce the friction coefficient and cause the sliding distance to be too long;

3. The looseness or damage of the brake ring will also reduce the braking force. At this time, it is necessary to find the position of poor contact and perform grinding. When the grinding cannot be performed, parts need to be replaced;

4. After the brake pressure spring is used for a long time, the spring force will also become smaller. You can also try to change the spring when the brake is not strong.

The above is about the handling measures of the operator when the micro electric hoist brake fails. If you have other questions, please call our staff.
