PA electric hoist suddenly fails to brake solution

As a commonly used lifting machinery equipment, micro electric hoist's brake failure means that the electric hoist has lost its braking function, including complete failure and partial failure.

Complete failure means that the braking function has no effect at all. , the steel wire rope and the heavy object are in a sliding state, and partial failure refers to the partial loss of the braking function.

So what should operators do when they suddenly encounter brake failure during use?

info-1-1

For the two situations of brake failure, lifting operators can refer to the following reasons and measures to deal with them:

1. This situation may occur because the hoist has been out of service for too long and the braking capacity is reduced. In this case, the brake nut needs to be readjusted;

2. If this situation still occurs after adjustment, you need to disassemble the brake ring and check whether there is oil on the braking surface. The presence of oil will also reduce the friction coefficient, causing the sliding distance to be too large;

3. Looseness or damage of the brake ring will also reduce the braking force. In this case, it is necessary to find the location of poor contact and repair it. When it cannot be repaired, the parts need to be replaced;

4. After the pressure spring of the brake is used for a long time, the spring force will also become smaller. When the brake is not firm, you can also try to replace the spring.
