1. No charging
Fault phenomenon: When the electric stacker truck engine is working normally, the charging indicator light is on or the ammeter indicates the negative value direction, indicating that the generator is not generating power and the battery is not charging.
Cause of failure: generator failure, regulator failure or electrical circuit failure, etc.
2. The charging voltage is too high
Trouble phenomenon: The bulb is easy to burn out during the working process of the stacker truck, and the battery electrolyte is consumed too fast. Use the DC voltage file of the multimeter to measure the voltage across the battery or the generator. If it is higher than the standard value, it indicates that the charging voltage is too high.
The cause of the failure: the regulator's working voltage is out of regulation or faulty.
3. The charging voltage of the electric stacker is too low
Trouble phenomenon: When the engine is working, the charging indicator flashes or the ammeter swings around zero. Use the DC voltage file of the multimeter to measure the voltage across the battery or generator. If it is lower than the standard value, it indicates that the charging voltage is too low.
The cause of the fault: the regulator's working voltage is out of regulation or faulty, the transmission belt is too loose, and the internal stator, rectifier, rotor and other parts of the generator are faulty.
People may encounter such failures in electric forklifts when using electric forklifts. People can troubleshoot in time according to the above reasons when they encounter failures. If they cannot solve them, they can ask professional maintenance personnel to come and solve them.
