G80 European Type Eye Self-Locking Slip Hook is high-grade alloy steel forged lifting fitting complying with EN1677 and EN818-2 European rigging standards, perfectly matched with Grade 80 lifting chains, hand chain hoists and electric chain hoists; manufactured from Cr-Mo alloy steel via integral drop forging and quenched & tempered heat treatment, each hook undergoes 100% magnetic particle crack inspection and 2.5 times WLL proof load test with a standard 4:1 safety factor, ensuring stable load-bearing performance under heavy-duty and low-temperature working conditions. Equipped with a spring automatic safety latch, the hook will lock tightly under load and can only be opened manually when unloaded to prevent accidental slipping during overhead lifting; the large circular eye on the top allows easy connection with G2150 bolt D shackles, master links and wire rope slings, far more flexible than small-eye American slip hooks. Multiple surface finishes are optional including color spray painting, Dacromet coating and hot-dipped galvanization for indoor factory, chemical and marine offshore applications respectively, with permanent embossed markings of G80 grade, working load limit and matching chain size on the hook body for clear load identification.
