Shackle products with a load exceeding 300 tons should be tested with a working safety load of about 1.4 to 1.5 times, and other special-shaped products should be tested according to the conditions of use.

In addition, wire rope shackles should also be checked for appearance and surface treatment. The first is that the surface should remain flat and smooth, and there should be no light or dark lines. Obvious body cracks on the body can be directly seen, and the internal dark lines or small dark lines can be detected with a magnifying glass or a professional infrared detector. The safety load of the factory wire rope shackle is generally approved according to the M4 standard.
