Horizontal Lifting Clamp has a lightweight low-alloy high-strength structure design with heat-treated processing. It is safer, more reliable, and can withstand larger axial cutting forces. It has good mounting rigidity and accurate axial positioning. It can enhance the rigidity of longer workpiece ends, which is conducive to improving machining accuracy and surface quality. The centerline of the tailstock is offset from the spindle centerline, and taper is easily generated in the axial direction during turning. One clamping and one top clamping is the most common method for turning shaft parts.
Main purpose and scope of application
Horizontal Lifting Clamp is used for the horizontal lifting of steel plates.
Suitable for lifting steel plates with a thickness less than 125mm, the load range is (1~10)t

Precautions
- Choose the appropriate vertical clamp according to the weight and thickness of the steel plate, and it is strictly prohibited to use it with overload.
- In actual use, there should be a gap between the steel plate and the ground, and the gap should be slightly larger than the thickness of the bottom of the tongs. Manually move the tongue of the cross-clamp to the largest opening; clamp the cross-clamp on the steel plate, and the side of the steel plate should contact the inner side of the cross-clamp. Before lifting, check that the center of gravity of the steel plate should be located on the center of the polygon formed by the two sets of tongs. Lift the thickness of the steel plate and the steel plate should be level. When the angle between the steel plate and the horizontal plane is greater than 7°, the horizontal clamp position should be readjusted. Pay special attention to the situation where there is no beam. At this time, the angle between the steel plate and the horizontal plane should not be greater than 5°, otherwise, it must be reinstalled.
- Only one steel plate is allowed to be lifted at a time. Two layers of steel plates are not allowed to be lifted at the same time and other objects are not allowed on the steel plate.
- When lifting operations, the horizontal clamp must be inserted to the end until the steel plate touches the inner wall of the horizontal clamp and is in place.
- During the lifting process, the steel plate that is strictly forbidden to be lifted receives collision and impact
- Lifting works should be as stable as possible, and it is strictly forbidden to stand below or pass objects above.
Scrapped
When one of the following situations occurs, the parts should be replaced or scrapped
1) When the wearing height of the jaws reaches 10% of the original height;
2) When two teeth are chipped or one tooth is broken;
3) When the wear of the clamp shaft reaches 25% of the original diameter;
4) When the plier's shaft or pliers body deforms to 1.5% of the original size;
5) When the overall movement of the horizontal clamp is not flexible, and the sliding parts are still not working after adding lubricating oil.
